Michelle is the Assistant Director for Education Programs at the University of Minnesota’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), and the founder of The Lamere Group, LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting business.
Michelle holds a Masters of Public Affairs, from the Humphrey School Public Affairs, with an emphasis on policy and leadership, and a graduate minor in Integrative Therapies and Alternative Healing Practices with a focus on resilience. She has also studied at the Dalai Lama's Medical Research Institute in Dharamsala, India. Michelle is a certified executive coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF), and specializes in coaching health science faculty. Michelle is currently completing her certification in the techniques and methodology of professor and Research Professor Brené Brown, the author of NY Times Best Selling books Daring Greatly and Rising Strong. Michelle has been developing the careers of researchers and leaders for over fourteen years.
In her spare time, Michelle loves cooking up adventures with her teenage daughter, reading to her dogs and cat, and fishing in northern Minnesota with her brothers, where she grew up.
